Understanding Street Gangs

Understanding Street Gangs is a short course helping teachers and adults working with children to understand gang culture and exploitation, particularly child sexual exploitation (CSE). Gangs thrive on secrecy, and this course aims to break some of the barriers so that adults can protect and support children and young people. It includes information about the language used, the structure of gangs, the activities they partake in, warning signs that indicate a young person may be at risk and safeguarding procedures.
